Holistic Pet Care

Providing information and resources for optimal pet health. My goal is to empower the pet person to strongly manage their pet’s environment, activities, health and products -  such that they stay well with minimal intervention or to assist chronically ill patients to improve. Support and complement research the client has already completed. Advise if integration into conventional modalities makes sense or interferes.

When I was 18, we lived in Malaysia where I assisted the zoo veterinarian at Zoo Negara.

What I love about SE Asia, humidity, spicy foods, refreshing drinks, jungle, jungle animals and sounds, batik, intriguing arts and crafts, rich culture, warm and curious people. The first time I lived in Malaysia, at the end of the year of sweating and purging (LOL any traveler knows what this means) my allergies to furry animals were cured.

Various trips with friends and family (Greece, Spain, Portugal, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia/Borneo/Brunei, France, Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Poland)

I like to study a place, to find the secrets, off the beaten path locations, best foods/bakeries, where the writers/artists/historic figures lived, art, quirky museums.

I also really enjoy walking around, getting the ‘feel’ of a place, exploring - whether it is a city, village, archeological site, forest or mountain trail.
